The Renewal: ADYNE Switzerland 2025
In 2025, ADYNE Switzerland was officially regenerated and relaunched under the leadership of Otia Erick Okoth (Amuka).
Together with Fabienne Schaffner as Vice President and Joël Muhizi Hakizimana as Secretary and Accountant, the original mission continues with renewed energy.
Today, ADYNE Switzerland focuses on:
• Empowering youth through leadership, entrepreneurship, and cultural programs.
• Promoting mental health awareness and community building.
• Partnering with Swiss institutions and African diaspora communities.
• Organizing cultural events like Swahili Day, African Child Day, and African Youth Day.
We honor our beginnings.
We celebrate our present.
We build our future.
It began with a spark—a gathering of voices from across the African diaspora, united by memory, purpose, and hope.
In the heart of Europe, young Africans saw the need to build something greater than themselves. A movement. A voice. A family. From the rhythm of Bit4Peace to the platforms of the United Nations, ADYNE Switzerland was born.
We came together to honor our roots and reclaim our future—through leadership, culture, music, and truth. We are the children of the diaspora, the heartbeat of two continents. And we knew: if we don’t write our story, they will write it for us.
So, we chose to write it ourselves.
We organize. We educate. We unify. From Geneva to Nairobi, from Caux to Kisumu, we raise the banner for youth and for Africa.
But our dream is bigger than workshops and speeches.
We are fighting for representation. For identity. For justice.
We call for:
• A single Pan-African ID for all Afro-descendants
• A Diasporan Bank, owned by the people, not by foreign powers
• Seats in the Pan-African Parliament for the Sixth Region—the millions of African descendants across the world
• And the full recognition of Afro-descendants as part of Africa’s future—not as guests, but as family
We are African. We are Swiss. We are global.
We are the past, the present, and the future.
We are ADYNE Switzerland—and we will not be erased.

Our history
Every movement begins with a dream — our dream is to empower the African diaspora and strengthen the voice of the next generation.
ADYNE Switzerland (African Diaspora Youth Network Europe, Swiss Chapter) was born from the real experiences of young Africans living in Europe.
Facing challenges of identity, integration, loneliness, and broken dreams, a new vision was needed:
A vision of pride, unity, and leadership for the diaspora.
Our founder saw that many young people were losing connection to their African roots while struggling to belong in their host societies.
ADYNE Switzerland rose as a platform where African youth could find their strength, express their talents, heal from struggles, and build their future.
Through cultural exchange, leadership programs, entrepreneurship initiatives, mental health awareness, and creative arts like music and storytelling, we empower our communities to rise with dignity.
We work in partnership with other organizations to strengthen our impact, but our identity remains rooted in our mission:
Empowering the African diaspora through unity, action, and pride.
We are the children of Africa.
We are the voice of the diaspora.
We are ADYNE Switzerland.
